im putting bfg sport comps on mine too this spring they look so sexy , had them on my 88 T/A they were sick

 

They look great. A friend had this from his corvette. I mounted one on the driver side front today to see how much spacer I will need (about an inch). Can you share the type of spacer you used?

they are called hubcentric spacer they have them on ebay i just searched wheel spacers 5x4.75 and found a bunch but make sure you buy good ones they need to be hubcentric cause they will match the center of the hub which makes them become one withe the wheel . ( only saying cause some say spacers are bad but in fact they are not if you buy the correct ones.)

thank you for the info. I got the rest of wheels from my friend today. I should have known the wheels were staggered. So I install the wheels with the 40's on the front, they fit perfect without any rubbing or needing a space. I installed wheels with the 35's on them on the rear, they fit with a slight modification to the mount for the bump stop. I took the stop off and cut the mounting area to clear the tire. All I have to do now is get new coil overs so I can lower the car an inch or two.
