The rules for where post are specificed correctly

    So as I am beginning to participate, the specific information of a thread is dedicated for only it's particular thread. Is that correct?

    Yes, try to post either in the section that covers your particular model year Camaro, or the general sections like suspension, etc. Do it as a new thread when you have questions. If you have answers for someone then reply in their thread.

    It is okay to ask questions in an existing thread if its the same problem you're having, but its best if it's only a recent topic. Replying to very old threads, sometimes called "necroposting" is usually not a good way, because depending on the age of the thread those people may not even be around any more (sold their car or some other reason).
