Firstly, anyone can submit an article. In fact it is encouraged that you submit them, as it will help the site and the F-body community at large to grow. To submit an article simply start a new post in this forum with the article in it, and if your article is approved you will be sent a PM telling you that it has been accepted. That being said, we ask that you use the following guidelines when submitting an article-

    1. If the article is not something you personally wrote, credit must be given to the original writer. Not doing so places this site in harms way, as Jason can be sued for posting copyrighted materials.

    2. Try to keep the article as simple as possible. We are all on different levels of skill auto wise, so try to keep your article as basic as you can, and explain any terms that a novice might not understand. Its better to have something too explainitory than to have something you can't understand.

    3. Post articles you think are actually useful. As tempting as it is to post anything and everything, try to use some moderation in what you post. Good examples of articles would be something like "Turbos, Superchargers, and Nitrous, which is best for you?", or "LT1 vs. LS1, the pros and cons of each". A poor article would be something like "LT1 vs. LS1, why the LS1 is trash". We are all mature enough here that I don't think a problem will come up here.

    4. List any equipment or supplies, if any, are needed to complete the task you are writing about. An example would be if you are writing about how to install window tint, you would want to tell readers to have a bucket of soapy water etc. For more indepth articles, a general list is more fitting. Its better to list the tools needed as "Metric Sockets" than it is to list all 10 sockets you use on the job.

    5. If appropriate, rate the article on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most difficult. This will give readers an idea of whether or not they are capable of doing the task described.

    6. Have fun with it! We don't want the articles to read like a novel, but rather like a conversation. Do your best to keep the article interesting (but realistic) so that the reader doesn't get discouraged just from reading.

That should about do it for now. These guidelines will be revamped from time to time as needed, and any information that is left out will be added.
