I have an '02 Z28 coupe. I am replacing the factory speakers and have come across a problem. The front speakers have a 4 wire harness(2+ and 2-). My new run of the mill 6 1/2" 3 ways only have the one spot for 1+ and 1-. What do I do and can I expect this from the rear 6 1/2"s??

PLEASE HELP I'm STUCK!!

Yes, the reason for 2 wires is likley that the other wires are going to tweeters/ mids or for DVC. Are the wires the same paired colors? Are they all opened ended? You can go ahead and hook up the new ones, but if your factory speakers were not damaged, dont expect much improvement.

The right front should be "dk.green-/ lt.green +" and the left "gray-/ tan+"

PS.The amp for the whole system is should be located in the rear left cargo bay.
