Tackling the repainting myself since it is so darn expensive to have it done professionally. Started with the front clip. It is the worst as far as fading.

Turned out great! Glad you decided to body match the mirrors. I will never understand why the General left them black...

Great job on the painting!! Personally i like the contrast with the mirrors and sail panel being black. Non the less great job!!

Yeah, I thought about that. My sig pic still has the black mirrors....I can't decide now which I like better.....lol....I may get me another set from the pull a part and change it up every now and then...

Yeah, as soon as it warms up again, I'm tackling the rear bumper cover and wing. The I have the sail panel to do, the clear is peeling off. Also the PO had flame decals (of all things) on it and you can still see the ghost images so I'll also be doing the rear quarter panels. Eventually the whole thing will be done at a cost of a couple hundred bucks...may not be show quality, but it works for me.

No tools other than wet sandpaper, a sanding block and elbow grease.

Oh, I buy my paint from Imatch paint.com. They use factory stuff (dupont) mixed individually by your paint code and they have a rattle can two-part clear coat that is professional quality stuff.
