Two years ago, a friend told me to just come get it, you can have it. A 1994 Camaro Z 28 T-top. It did not run. "just put a battery in it, maybe itll start" he says. Mmmmm, it had sat for over 10 years, gut told me to pull the motor. Good plan, bent and broken pushrods, broken valve and, yep, you guessed it, broken valve punched a hole in a piston. Turns out, it was already bored .20 over, replaced piston, new 1.52 rockers, learned the hard way it needed shorter pushrods(oops), and a comp cam (210 intake, 220 exhaust)Two years, blood, sweat, and tears, I finally got it running. New tires arrived today. Still need exhaust. Hope to have it on the road in another month, still working some bugs out. Looking forward to driving it!
