    Just got my JET DST and looking where to start after I save my current ECU program.

    What bin files are available that others have made?

    I know that I will be deleting the following:

    EGR
    AIR PUMP
    CAT COV
    REAR O2
    And what ever else is in my way.

    I am most interested in setting the air/fuel. I see that optimum it 14.2%, but is that all the time or are there other factors where more or less is needed?

    What about the cooling fans? I dont want it to get above 185 degrees.

    Does this forum have a thread for bin files?

    Thanks for informing me.

    The air-fuel ratio is for cruise and light throttle. It drops much richer at heavy throttle.

    14.6/14.7 is best for mileage, but will run hotter and not something I would do with a cramped engine bay like the Camaro.

    EGR is not something I'd typically want to delete, since it means you'll need to take some timing out, will reduce economy and does nothing to increase power. Think EGR of as "free" octane while cruising, since it slows the burn rate. Deleting it for power is a myth that needs to die.

    Just seeing this, I think. Regardless;

    In looking for info re:JetDST search for Tunercat. That was the original name of the program before Jet started marketing it.
    Next go to http://gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/forum.php. This is a website dedicated to tuning and you'll find a lot of information here and a better place to ask questions. Truth is there aren't a lot of forum people who do/know tuning. Here is another page with good information on tuning. http://lt1pcmtuning.com/tips/
