Hi everyone I'm new here, I come in search of help. I've come across a 4th Gen camaro that I'm told has a factory 383 LT--1 five speed with a Hurst shifter , t-tops. I would like to know if this is real, I thought it was very limited release any info is helpful

I'm going to say no. The LT-1 was a 1st gen engine that came out in 2nd gen camaro's I think, and the LT1 came out in 92 in teh corvette and 93 in teh camaro. And as far as I know, GM has never come out with a factory 383. Pretty sure he is trying to fill you full of crap.

I've never heard of a factory 383 in these cars. You can order 383 crate engines from Chevy, but as far as I know they never came in a car from the factory.
