Engine swap

    I recently bought a 1980 Camaro with a 305 in it but I would like to put a 540 in it would the 540 fit in it

    thats a loaded question yes you can make it fit BUT will it just drop in i think not there has been 2nd gens with big blocks so it is possible just might take some extra parts

    For that kind of money you could do a full blown EFI LS swap with a turbo, and get similar horsepower with mild boost say 8psi.

    The 1970 1/2-3 Camaros came with a big block .So use the mounts for those cars .along with the springs and other accesories.
