I been searching for quote a while and still haven't found or come up with anything. Are there any aftermarket or factory hoods like the functional cowl induction hood that came on the Chevelle SS or is there a way to do it to the hood to make that way?

Yeah I know of those kind of cowl induction hoods and thank you for actually replying to the thread. I'm actually looking to do like the old school Chevelle SS with the cowl induction hood and when you step on the gas the the hood vent lifts up for more air.

 

Ah OK that would be an air induction hood and to my knowledge that is not available for the 4th Gens. I myself would rather it be open all the time so the hot air is constantly moving and not staying trapped in the engine compartment until you stepped on the pedal a little harder. I did love the hood on my 81Z though

 

Gotcha sorry about that. I guess I may look into doing a one off myself. I'll keep cowl inductions in mind to. Thank you
