Cleaning And Polishing

    Hey guys my 98 is a convertible.

    The top doesn't have the same luster it use to have, it needs a good cleaning. Its in good shape and all, just dirty.

    What's the best way to clean the convertible top without damaging it? After that can something like Scotchguard be used to keep it clean longer?

    Several different convertible top cleaner fluids you can pick up at any auto parts store. Brand shouldn't be terribly important, its all basically low foam detergent. Get a soft fabric brush to scrub it and rinse it completely... then rinse it again. Any amount of residue left can cause greyish spots on the fabric once it dries.

    check out Adams products, I was introduced to them by a vette guy, now I use it on my camaro all the time
