I have some really annoying water stains on my polished aluminum valve covers that will not come off. What happened was i got some water on them when they were hot and now thay are stained. I tried mothers aluminum polish and water mixed with vinegar and had no luck. Any other suggestions would be very helpful.

 

Start the engine, and spray water on the entire cover..than the water spots will be gone..nah..just kidding. Thats odd the polish won't help. I don't really know what to tell you. Good luck!

 

look into some stuff called Wenol it works great...or take them off have them vibrate polished rub them with alcohol and spray some clear over them
