Bought a new battery and tried starting the car. It was turning over slow so I bought new battery cables as the old ones did not look the best. I also picked up a rebuilt starter while I was at the parts store, just in case.

Stripped the hood, roof and hatch to get rid of the flaking, peeling paint. Have them in primer and don't want rust to start forming. So I am going to paint them satin black and wrap them in carbon fiber vinyl. Was going to take it and have it wrapped, but bought the wrap and a heat gun to do it myself. Wish me luck!

Found rubbed, worn through wires under the hood, more little fixes.
Move things around to clean them and find more wear and tear.
Still not too bad for a 28 year old car.

Went all out and installed a new brake pedal pad, 5.00. Car had chrome tuner style pedals could not take looking at them anymore. LOL

Bought a new 3 ton low profile floor jack and a set of jack stands this weekend. Now I should be able to get at the starter.

Wrapped the hood and hatch lid today. Hood looks alright for my first try at wrapping. It will do until I get around to painting the car. I also refinished the hood louvers in satin black. Would like to start posting pictures if I could find out how.

Ordering rear control arms, relocation brakets and panhard bar from Founders Performance to update the rear suspension.

Ordered the three piece poly control arms and adjustable panhard. Going to take a look at the dashboard heater and air cond. controls to see if I can get them working.

Any pictures yet? Would love to see the wrap I think its a much better way to go than that plastidip stuff.

Good news, got the car jacked up to change the starter. Battery cable was loose, tightened it turns over fine now.

Installing new energy suspension greaseable sway bar bushings and swaybar ends. When under the car I had a look at them and saw that the bushings were cracking and falling apart.

Bought new front brake hoses to replace the 28 year old ones. Going to start collecting Moog parts to replace the old steering system.
