Heartbeat Classes - Class 1 thru 27 200 Points Judged Pre-Registered Only
Choose the class that best describes your Camaro. Judges will be evaluating the presentation of the car; the paint condition, fit, finish, interior condition and cleanliness, engine compartment detailing, trunk, tires, glass, etc. As this is a ‘Show & Shine’ class, scoring will be weighted toward the detailing and the overall cleanliness of the car, rather than checking codes and numbers. Points will be deducted for items that are modified beyond the level of the class
description. Cars must be parked in the designated class area, and will not be judged in or on trailers; or in the display buildings. Only one class per car. See Website for additional information. For any questions not addressed on website, contact Gary Sommers via email at: [email protected] or at 240-446-9050.

STOCK - Original or restored cars in these classes must look overall stock. The highest score will be awarded to cars that look closest to as they did when they left the GM assembly line. Color and interior must have been available for that year production, as must wheels, hubcaps, stripes, and spoilers. Three minor changes allowed before points deductions will be taken. Radial tires of
approx original size are allowed. Spare tire is required for full points in trunk area. Factory spare covers in later generations will not be opened, and spare is assumed to be present. Minor changes are aftermarket radios, shifters, LED accents, stock looking MAF or air cleaner changes, lens covers, strut tower supports, etc.

BOW TIE CLASSES 1000 Point Judged Class Stock Pre-Registered Only Camaros in this class will be judged against a judging sheet for a points based award, rather then against the scores of other cars. Although cleanliness will be addressed, the major emphisis will be on duplicating the way the car would have come from the factory. Basic numbers and trim tags will be checked, to confirm that features, options, and colors are correct for the car being
judged. Judges will be checking for bias tires, spiral shocks, proper battery, alternator, distributor, etc. Equipment may be original, NOS, good quality used, or high quaity reproduction parts. Class is limited to 15 cars in 1st generation, 6 cars each in 2nd and 3rd generations.

Like all judged classes at the event, cars must be pre-registered.

Trailer parking is included in the class fee - be sure to check off trailer parking on the registration form if it is required. As this class is parked and judged indoors, cars must be on grounds and available by noon on Thursday in order to be staged in final positions by 4 PM, when the building is locked. Cars are expected to remain in the building until Saturday after the awards
ceremony. This class fills very quickly, so do not hesitate to register if interested. For more information contact: Bud Scolastico [email protected] 610-921-3721.
Please note that although this class goes into quite a bit of detail, it is not on a par with our concours “Legends” class. Judging time is approximately 30 minutes per car compared to 3 hours per car in Legends. For those interested in the possibiliity of moving on to Legends and would like to have their car evaluated for that class, specify 57L or 58L.

57 1st Generation BowTie Stock
57L 1st Generation BowTie with Legends Check
58 2nd Generation BowTie Stock
58L 2nd Generation BowTie with Legends Check
59 3rd Generation Bow Tie Stock

LEGEND CONCOURS CLASS - ‘5000 Point Three Year System - Pre Registered Only
This system is limited to first and second generation Camaros. As this concours class goes into detail beyond the scope of many participants, Camaros entering this class must be qualified by previous participation in BowTie Class 57L or 58L; or optionally by inspection of one of the concurs judges prior to entry. This requirement is in place to save expense and time of those not familiar with this system, and to prevent assigning the limited number of Legend spaces to
unqualified cars; thus preventing qualified cars from participating. Pre-qualifiication or inspection does not assure placing at awards, but confirms tha the car in question has a reasonable chance at performing well in the system.
This is an extremly thorough system - cars will be inspected in all areas, including from underneath, and can take up to three hours per car. All parts will be evaluated as to part number, mfg date, originality, finish, and condition. Trailer parking is included in the class fee - be sure to check off trailer parking on the registration form if it is required. As this class is parked and judged indoors, cars must be on grounds and available by noon on Thursday in order to be staged in final positions by 4 PM, when the building is locked. Cars are expected to remain in the building until Saturday after the awards ceremony. This class fills very quickly, so do not hesitate to register if interested.
