Hello I picked up a 94 z28 with a pro charger and cam larger injectors blah blah.. I was told the tune was done by pcm for less and the idle is way rich mid and higher rpm’s are 13-16 afr but idle is about 22.5 which obviously is bad lol. I was looking into tuning a pcm from the 94 and saw a tuner cat kit for it. I went to check the obd1 connector in the camaro and there is a obd2 wired into it pigtailed in. Just curious what cable to buy now they have obd2 and obd1 connector but also a y connector advertised for both.

car has a scan master lt1 which doesn’t do anything but tell you about your sensor. Also has accell 375/300 ignition box was told to disconnect that from the tuner does that mess with timing? Thanks Travis

I fount what I needed to know thanks. There’s a cheaper chord for 94lt1 on eBay from red devil I bought it should be able to use tuner pro with it.

I tend to shoot for about 11.5 at high RPMs and go a little leaner as it get's lower on the RPM scale. 11.5 across the board is a good safe number. Leaner will get more power, but raise EGTs, so it depends the setup I'm dealing with. For example, a Ford 5.4L I go a little richer than 11.5 at the top end on stock rods.
