Hey guys I’m new here to the forum. How difficult is it to replace the window felt on both sides of the front window? Thanks for the help

When you say window felts on the front window, you referring to the door glass correct?

If so, it is very easy. They are held in with spring clips mounted to the felt channel. If you are removing the outer channel, you will roll the window down, and start at the end of the door. Push the channel in toward the glass and carefully, but firmly pull up, you will start to see the tongue of the spring clip start to come out of the retaining holes in the door, at that point just carefully pull the channel out, but be careful, because if you are not careful, you can scratch the paint very easily if you are not careful. Good luck.

yeah, easy if they come right out. Most are rusted in. buy some plastic pry tools from harbor freight or somewhere, just to lay on the top of the door before you get your screwdriver out because the spring clips are rusted in the door.

Bought real fuzzies last time, they leaked badly. Ordered the real rubber fuzzies this time, they sent me the felt and would not take them back, so I had to order the real rubber again.

Before you put the new ones in, touch up any bare metal you might have caused getting them out.
