The tail lights on my 4th gen are really falling apart now, every time it rains the moisture blows out the blubs.

Appears the lenses are discontinued. What are my options? I'm aware there was some chinese place selling reproduction export lenses? Cant find these either..Anyone have a source for buying these?

All the used ones i've looked at are in similar condition (cracked/leaking etc)

This issue will only get worse and more common as these cars continue to age.

Not interested in perfection, just something similar to stock with the amber turn signals.

I tried finding stock ones to replace my cracked and leaking tail lights but nothing I bought was any better. I broke down and bought some after market taillights. You should be able to do a search and find some. You can try eBay, CARID, Rick's Camaro, and or Hawks Motorsports.

Yeah..I see plenty of those aftermarket ones, not a fan of them but might end up having to just accept thats the only option.

Found the ebay listing for reproduction export ones which look about as close to stock as you'l get, but they are sold out and after I contacted the seller they said they arent getting any more in. So that sucks.

gotta remember - we are approaching 30 years since these were new. you might have to go off the beaten path to make things work. buy a pair of junkyard lights, and may have to build up the sealing edges with silicone to make sure you get a good "squish fit". many aftermarket lights ive played with over the years for different cars have same leaky issues at times. typically ill run a small bead of silicon on edges let set and squish them in to try to make a better seal. If you find New in Box original replacements be ready to pay for them...gladly the car i have...doesnt have this issue. but im having all kinds of fun on my own with odd issues now. the fun of 30 year old computer designed cars bwahaha

BTW Hawks Motorsports parts out 4th gens, and probably other years, so you could call them and see what they have. Sometimes they come through.

However, sometimes they don't. I contacted them looking for the center long shifter console and haven't ever heard from them. I can take one with broken hinge as I'm needing a different part off of it.

THat inventory is insane, will definitely reach out to them.

Also yeah i understand they are old cars now and not annoyed, it is what it is. What i'm curious about is that inventory of oem-style chinese ones that came out a while ago. They seem to have sold out real quick and no mention of getting more in. Would love to know where they came from.
