Hello everyone. New member from TN. Need some help with identifying my car. Trying to authenticate. I feel it is the real deal. Need member help and input. Car looks to be an early 1969 SS as it has a date of the 4th week of October? No X numbers on the car. Did X codes start in December? I’ll list some pics for everyone to view.


Here is what I have found on the car. Believed to be original 61k miles as found some maintenance paperwork. Has 28 coil hood springs, dual exhaust hanger on driver side wheel well, power disc front brakes, dual fuel lines, 12 bolt rear, tac and gauges.

I’m also looking at selling the car. What kind of price would you list it for.

 

Well, this is probably a belated reply but : all indications show it's an SS - The engine "HB" suffix is a 300HP version - built Sept 20th.

Looks like a repaint - the stripes were put on wrong - typical.

 

Everything appears to be a legit 69-SS 350. Agree with the above on the paint job. These are going for anywhere from $18-$25K in this condition. With the market the way it is, you are going to be closer to $18K. Good luck, its a nice car, and I would hold on to it if you can.
