Do they make any sort of kits to give cars like ours HID lights?

If you're going to do HID, go with a good bi-xenon retro.
I have them on my car and they are perfect!!

I got mine from the retrofitsource.
They don't normally sell completed kits, but there was a guy there who was willing to do it. Might be worth a shot to ask them.

Do you ever get anyone flashing you because it's to bright? Also do all 4 lights work as HID or do the brights work in the same two?

I don't know about that particular kit but in general HIDs are all about proper aiming. The light cuts off abruptly compared to regular lights so if you aim them right the only thing giving them away is the color.

No never been flashed, since these are a projector setup, they have a very nice cutoff to the light. Notice in the picture of the driveway, you can see the line. The light doesn't go all over the place like many time when you see people who put HIDs in a halogen reflector.

Here is another shot of the cutoff against the garage

As for the high beams, mine are a bi-xenon so they work as lo and high beams. When in lo beam, there is a shield that covers part of the projector. When in high beam, this shield moves up and allows all the light to go out. It's very bright!

The factory high beams are mostly just there for looks, what I did was bought some of those fake projectors for the high beam location, and put some LEDs in them. Just to make it look more modern all the way across. It looked funny with old style sealed beam next to the nice new projectors.

Here you can see the real ones, next to the fake ones.

What kind of life does an HID lamp have? Also, do pieces that move up and down for brights fail much?

According to the retrofit source, their bulbs have a 2500+ lifespan

As for the shield, I guess it could fail but I really doubt it. It's not getting used that often, I've had mine for a couple years now and haven't had any problems.
