Small update

Part of Glenn's beloved Destiny resurrected.
The ailing powdercoat was stripped. Then i sprayed 3 coats of epoxy primer, 3 coats of GM black BC and about 6 or 7 coats of clear. I lost count.

UMMMMMM... We have run into an issue.... My car needs tires... sooo... his will be lacking a set. With all of the time and money he has put into this car and the fact that it more than likely will not be done and road ready this summer. I am planning on using his tires and wheels. Easy swap since both cars have the same wheels.

I will give him credit... he has done an excellent job on this car. I cannot wait to see the engine back in it. Hopefully, I will have the time to at least assist. By assist I mean put my two cents worth of opinion in since he and my son will more than likely not allow me to actually help.

Sounds good Glenn. I am sure it will not be too far off. Soooo now that you and Jason and Jim will be doing the install.... I guess that leaves me no other choice but to stay out of the way.

 

Update!!

The front suspension is all back together with Destiny's k-member. New bushings, tierod ends, and paint. It also has a LS1 brake upgrade that is all not put on yet. Oh and yes those shocks are going to be replaced with adjustable ones.

Very nice... You steal Nora's springs? If I know in advance when you are going to throw it all together let me know. I can bring some of the boys up to help out.

 

Hope Jpack... they are not my springs. I have been keeping a close eye on my car to make sure he is not "borrowing" anything from it. LOL
