Well Sunday and for most this is your last day of your weekend. Today is my first day.

going to bbq ribs on the grill if the weather permits and who knows what else.

I am thinking we need to get up to see Jim's grandpa who is in the nursing home. Been a few weeks since we saw him.

It's my last day of the weekend... the work weekend! Day 3 of 3. 12 hours and 40 minutes from now I'll start my weekend. Yah!

Was planning on going to a car audio competition, but last night i went offroading and punctured my gas tank. i was lucky to get my truck from the place to my moms house (15 minute drive) all the way back to my house (18 minute drive). i parked it at a slope where the nose was lower, and my gf smelled gas, so i looked, and sure enough, the tank was leaking all over the place. so i moved the truck and sloped it opposite, but apparently that wasnt enough of a slope as my truck wont start this morning :'(

so now i have to spend all day ripping the tank out of my winter beater and putting it in my DD... that IS if the tanks match... they should... i hope... if not, im totally screwed. my camaro doesnt have an interior, so i cant drive that

just finished repairing my gas tank.
i may yet make the audio show

the tank doesnt have a hole in it or anything, but the metal got dented and pinched and a tiny hole was created...

ill leave it for a while, i put alot of seal-all on it, plus a piece of rag saturated in seal all, so its going to hold for a while

 

staying home today dont know what I am going to do, one of our cats got out & is under our place & the kids are trying to get her

I have been up since 3:30 AM. I went fishing out on the lake. We caught about 35-40 bluegill, catfish, and Bass. And no it wasn't a stocked lake (thats for amateurs). Came home cleaned fish and watched a movie

 

too freaking hot outside.

wasnt much interested in the audio show... i used to be, but it was boring this year...

yea, i found a new passion of mine! high speed off-roading!

makes me wanna do up my 4x4 real bad and take it off road hahaa!


there's nothing like doing 60 mph on a dirt road to relieve stress and anger!

bad part about this was my truck got alot of air-time, and its only a stock RWD s10 hahaa! wouldnt be so bad if it were my 4x4 s15, but that thing needs seats/mirrors for starters, and the interior is all cracked and fugly, so i WANT to swap it out for something cleaner.

 

my day was not too bad. painted the calipers on the rear and the ridge of the rotors. I think they look sharp. Oh and the ribs were delicious.
