Im just about to use gunk engine brite spray gel. Has anyone used this? And also i read that you need to cover the coil packs.? Can i use this stuff on the underside of the hood? Im going and try and not use to much water to rince.

Or is it just spray wait 10 to 15 mins then rince.

How easy was it? I have been reading simple green is not good to use. Did you have to cover anything? Is it like spray wait and then rince?

Yeah, just spray the simple green on and rinse it off a few minutes later. I didn't have to cover anything.

I use gunk...I cover the PCM,the MAF plug, and the fuse box....spray gunk everywhere!! let it sit, then rinse off,and dry with compressed air...works great!

I like to do a little scrubbing while the cleaner sits, then rinse really well
